Job description
The company is looking for a Fixed Assets Accountant keen to pursue a career in a multinational organization. The person will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency of the company’s books and records by managing daily accounting tasks.
Main responsibilities:
- To perform and ensure effective, efficient and accurate accounting and administration of the Company’s tangible and intangible assets with respect to underlying transactions such as purchases, sales write-offs, reclassifications; leases, etc;
- Preparation, submission of declarations and communication with the municipalities for property taxes and garbage fees;
- Prepare monthly reports;
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly, annual period closing and audit;
- Assist with other accounting projects.
Job requirements
What are we looking for:
- University Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the Accounting Department of a large corporation (experience with assets would be considered an advantage);
- Knowledge of an ERP system (SAP ideally) would be considered an advantage;
- Good understanding of accounting principles and practices;
- Keen to study for a professional qualification financed by the company;
- Good level of written and spoken English;
- Very good analytical and organizing skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Collaborative and team-oriented attitude;
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
